Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver 9:02 PM Sunday at Campbell Street and Wilke Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report from another motorist of a possible intoxicated driver after a female driver was observed leaving a bar.
The motorist followed the driver for an unspecifiied distance, but then stopped following. The police were able to locate vehicle, which was described as a 2002 maroon Chevy Trailblazer.
After observing the driver, police committed to a traffic stop near Wilke Road and Campbell Street. The driver was arrested at the traffic stop and charged with Aggravated DUI — a felony. The driver was possibly a repeat offender, therefore effecting the aggravated DUI charge.
Police transported the driver, identified by police as Jennifer A. Arbuckle of Schaumburg, in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s Chevy Trailblazer was towed to a police holding area.
Court date is March 10, 2015 at Cook County Circuit Court.
